Meet Dani – our Front-End developer! Discover how she transforms complex ideas into smooth and high-performance web solutions, her favorite tools and approaches, and the professional tips she shares for developers.
We continue the series “Inside LabForty”, where we introduce you to the people behind our products and show how their expertise, creativity, and hard work turn concepts into real, impressive solutions.
This time, we’re taking a closer look at Dani, a front-end Developer at LabForty for over three years. She is part of the team working on applications for the financial industry—a sector where precision, security, and user experience are critical. We’ll introduce you to Dani, so you can get to know not only her professional side but also her fun, sporty, and inspiring personality.
As a front-end developer, Dani transforms complex financial data into intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Her work requires a careful balance of technical precision and creativity—creating products that look and function flawlessly.
The most important aspect of her work is effective communication. Dani believes that clear idea exchange and open dialogue with colleagues are essential for achieving impeccable results. Team collaboration not only allows knowledge and experience sharing but also enables innovative solutions that improve the product and meet client needs.
At LabForty, this is a daily practice — sharing ideas, giving feedback, and offering support allow the team to deliver high-quality solutions.
Despite a busy schedule at LabForty, Dani manages to maintain a balance between her professional and personal life, making time for sports, hobbies, and personal interests.
Archery is the sport she approaches most professionally—with consistency, discipline, and clear goals for development. Dani is part of the extended national team roster, and her training and competitions help her develop precision, self-control, and resilience under pressure. For her, this is not just a way to unwind, but a path that demands daily effort, patience, and strong mental preparation.
She is especially drawn to the outdoor season, where she experiences the sport “in its true environment”—surrounded by nature and green fields. She shoots at 70 meters and enjoys the dynamics of outdoor conditions, which make every series different. Wind, rain, or heat add extra challenges, teaching her quick judgment and decision-making while enhancing her focus.
After an intensive workday, archery is her way to mentally unwind and “reset”—focusing on technique, breathing, and rhythm helps her release tension and return to tasks with a clearer mind. Complementing this individual sport, playing volleyball in an amateur league gives her a different type of energy—teamwork, communication, and physical effort—that balance her active lifestyle.
In the world of front-end development, every day brings new challenges—rapidly evolving technologies and the need to balance functionality with design. For Dani, who has been working on financial industry applications for over three years, this means constantly seeking innovative solutions and refining her skills.
To understand how Dani handles the dynamic nature of her profession, maintains motivation, and approaches creating high-quality products, we asked her a few questions:
What are the biggest challenges you face as a front-end Developer?
The biggest challenges are balancing deadlines with quality, handling complex UI states and edge cases, and optimizing performance—especially in React Native across different devices. Another challenge is keeping the code organized and maintainable as the product evolves and requirements change.
How do you stay motivated in your projects?
By setting clear, small goals and seeking visible progress at each step.
What advice would you give to someone starting a career in front-end development?
Build a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, then expand with React and TypeScript through real projects. Learn to debug confidently, write readable code, and seek feedback—this accelerates growth the most.
Q: Favorite development technologies and tools?
A: React Native and React with TypeScript, plus VS Code, Git, and DevTools (React/React Native) for fast debugging and UI checks.
Q: Coffee, tea, or something else that fuels you?
A: Coffee—mainly in the morning, but I also enjoy tea on cold days.
Q: One item always on your desk while working?
A: A notebook for quick tasks, ideas, and checklists.
Q: Dream getaway from the screen?
A: Somewhere in nature—mountains or green meadows.
Q: Favorite framework or library?
A: React (and React Native) for the component model and the speed with which interfaces can be built and developed.
Q: The biggest challenge in front-end development today?
A: Maintaining speed and quality with constantly evolving technologies and devices.
Q: Which UI element makes the strongest impression on users?
A: The sense of “smoothness”—quick reactions, clear feedback (loading/error/success), and no surprises in behavior.
Q: What helps you focus while working?
A: Headphones—they help me maintain focus.
Q: How do you relax after an intense workday?
A: Archery—it clears my mind and restores concentration through silence, rhythm, and control.
Q: Favorite CSS approach?
A: Utility-first mindset + clear design tokens (spacing, colors, typography) and a consistent component structure.
Q: Which part of the interface makes the biggest difference to the user?
A: Usability and clarity when interacting with the application.
Q: Favorite JavaScript framework or library and why?
A: React Native—because it allows me to quickly build mobile apps from a single codebase, while keeping the React component approach and leveraging a large ecosystem for navigation, state management, and UI.
Q: Music that motivates you while working?
A: It depends, but I often listen to old-school 90s and 2000s rap—Eminem, 50 Cent, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre.
Dani exemplifies professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail. At LabForty, we take pride in people who don’t just create products but put thought, creativity, and heart into every solution.
As a team, we can’t wait to join her in a masterclass in archery—and, why not, take part in a volleyball training session too—because besides digital achievements, we love shared fun experiences that bring us together, challenge us, and, let’s admit, sometimes push us out of our comfort zone.
Stay tuned for more meetings with the people shaping LabForty’s spirit and future—because every change in the digital world carries the imprint of real people and their pursuit of excellence.
