Website development process

Each project is individual to itself, and is according to the customer’s needs, yet there are processes that are fundamental of the Website development process. The following list provides an overview of the individual phases.

This is a stage determines how the next steps will look. The most important task at this stage is to get a clear understanding of the main goals you want to achieve and the target audience you want to attract to your site.

At this stage of the website development cycle, we create the necessary data to give the customer an opportunity to assess how the entire site will look. Actually this is a sketch of the web site.

The main goal at this stage is to visualize and structure the information. Based on the information gathered we create also a site map. The site map describes the links between the main areas of your web site. This helps to understand how the end product will be used. It can show you the “links” between different pages of your website, so you can judge how easy it be for the end user to find the information or service you offer. The main reason for creating a site map is to create a convenient and easy-to-navigate website.

The site map allows you to understand what the internal structure of a website looks like. At this stage a sketch of the site will be also made, this is a visual representation of the user interface, but it does not contain design elements, such as colors, logos. It only describes the items that will be added to the pages and their position. To be able to proceed with the next phase design, we need to get approval from the customer.

In this step of the website development cycle, all visual content, such as images, photos and videos, will be created. The collected information from the first step is crucial.

At this stage we will produce a graphic sketch or a real graphic design. The main purpose is to present the structure, visualize the content, and demonstrate the core functionality.

The graphic sketch contains colors, logo, images and can give a good idea of the future product. Once the customer has reviewed the graphic sketch, he gives feedback. If you are not sure about some aspects of the design, we will modify and sent back for approval.

Content creation usually overlaps with the other stages and should not be underestimated. At this point it is necessary to write the essence you want to present to the audience of your site. The customer provides the text content for the website.

It is recommended to provide all textual content for the site before or during the Development and Testing Phase of the website.

Development and Testing

In this step of the development cycle we can start creating the website itself. The graphic elements that were created during the previous stages will be used to make a real website. First we will create the homepage and then add all the sub-pages according to the map of the website created in the second step.

All items that were designed during the previous stage will be created and tested. Then we will  add special features and interactivity.

Testing is probably the most routine part of the website development process. Each individual link will be tested to make sure there are no broken links between them. We’ll check every form and script. We will also test the responsive design, including  browsing and web design compatibility  with various mobile devices.

To exist on the Internet a website needs a domain name and hosting. The domain name is reserved for a certain period of time, with a minimum period of 1 year. Hosting is the space where all the elements of the website are stored. Like the domain name, the hosting plan is paid for a certain amount of time.

Once the appropriate domain and hosting  has been chosen that meets the requirements of the Web site, it is time to upload it to a server and go Online.

WordPress started as a blogging tool and developed over the years into a powerful website building platform and robust content management system (CMS).

WordPress is easy to use CMS and flexible enough to create different types of websites. This is the main reason why WordPress has grown so much in popularity.

According to a recent survey, WordPress accounts for 32.3% of all websites on the Internet.

The cost of developing a website depends on the client’s requirements and the complexity of the project.

However, we can say that  for designing a company website with standard functionality we can offer a price  within 360lv – 1700lv.

This question has a definite answer.

No one can guarantee how a site will rank in search results, as mentioned in our online advertising page, when you use Google’s search engine, it aims to provide users with the most relevant search results regarding Googles algorithm.

If everyone had the opportunity to pay for higher rankings in search results, then users would not receive the most relevant information they were looking for.

Every single website created by the company follows best practices recommended by Google, such as:

  • We create pages primarily for users, not search engines;
  • We do not create pages that mislead users;
  • We do not create pages using tricks designed to improve the ranking;
  • We optimize the pages appropriately to be well understood by search engines.
