About the position
The Business Development Lead is an incredible sales position for a passionate IT expert at a fast-growing, dynamic Bulgarian startup. LabForty already has a fantastic reputation within fintech and is looking to grow significantly domestically and abroad. To spearhead our growth, we need a senior sales professional with a deep understanding of IT technologies. The individual will help bridge the gap at a technology level with corporate clients and decision makers.
This position is remote and will report to the CEO in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It will require significant travel. Only candidates with fluent German will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Establish LabForty as a key IT provider for fintech and banks in Germany and Austria
- Create, drive, and nurture communication with leading corporate clients
- Close long-term contracts with leading corporate names in Germany and Austria
- Meet sales targets on a quarterly basis
- Lift and shape the regional presence of the company
- Become a thought leader for anything related to fintech development and actively participate in events, media performances, and meetings
- Have exceptional English skills, both written and verbal
- Be open to travel to client offices, as needed
- Collaborate with the relevant internal teams on a variety of initiatives, projects, and events
- Stay up to date with advances and innovations in IT and client industries
- Develop, maintain, and evolve LabForty collateral (sales presentations, peer monitors, etc.)
- Respond to sales requests and other tasks to help drive growth
Job Requirements
Fluent German is required. Candidates without fluent German language skills are encouraged to apply for some of our other openings.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance, or equivalent experience in a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a client-facing role, with a focus on corporate sales and B2B relationships for a leading IT development and services firm
- Proven track record of successful performance in IT
- Existing network of working connections with key executives in relevant businesses
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, in English
- Exceptional communication and time management skills with proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and project management tools
- Deep knowledge in any highly technical product and ability to learn abstract technologies
- Willingness to travel to regional client offices as projects demand
- Ability to work well under pressure and see stressful situations as opportunities rather than problems
- Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a “can do” attitude
- Show great attention to details

Partner with managers and the executive team to brainstorm original design ideas for internal and client projects. - Collaborate efficiently with teammates to identify problems and solutions in working toward the completion of a project goal
- Develop integrations to external services and software
- Perform basic debugging in test and production environments

Qualifications
We would expect you to have at least 5 years of work experience managing databases and a successful track record.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus
- 3+ years of web development experience
- Experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET MVC, MSSQL Server and PostgreSOL
- Experience working with remote teams to complete a task is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

- Developing and delivering sophisticated mobile apps for our international clients
- Developing new features of Fintech platform

Qualifications
- 3 years of experience on commercial mobile application development using React Native framework
- Experience working on several Fintech mobile apps
- Strong JavaScript skills, especially ES6+
- Knowledge of Typescript
- Experience with asynchronous programming (Promises and/or async/await)
- Good knowledge of webpack, npm / yarn, Redux, Mobix, NodeJS
- Experience with component and unit testing using any library (Enzyme + Jest)
- Understanding of Frontend Development Architecture, Design Patterns, OOP, Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience in front-end technologies, including but not limited to AJAX, HTML, CSS
- Experience with version control
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to the delegated tasks and responsibilities

The designer will be responsible for developing and creating exceptional graphics for web and mobile applications. Prior experience in—and willingness to understand—digital design is needed as we look for innovative solutions that add value to the brand. It is fundamental to delve into the meaning behind sophisticated financial terms and be able to illustrate them in a creative, understandable way. Knowledge of front-end development (e.g., HTML5, CSS, etc.) and experience working with developers and account managers is a plus.

- Design and implement graphics and videos related to various initiatives, including sales, marketing, advertising, and development

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design (preferably graphic/web) or equivalent experience in a related field is required
- Strong design skills and an excellent sense of design
- Relevant work experience in web design, video editing, and creative services is required
- Excellent communication and time management skills with proven experience managing multiple projects at а time
- Solid Adobe CC skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Knowledge in video editing (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere)
- Willingness to gain proficiency in any kind of software, including YouTube studio, Google Web Designer, After Effects, HTML5, and JavaScript
- Ability to work well under pressure and see stressful situations as opportunities rather than problems
