About the position

The Business Development Lead is an incredible sales position for a passionate IT expert at a fast-growing, dynamic Bulgarian startup. LabForty already has a fantastic reputation within fintech and is looking to grow significantly domestically and abroad. To spearhead our growth, we need a senior sales professional with a deep understanding of IT technologies. The individual will help bridge the gap at a technology level with corporate clients and decision makers.

This position is remote and will report to the CEO in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It will require significant travel. Only candidates with fluent German will be considered.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Establish LabForty as a key IT provider for fintech and banks in Germany and Austria

  • Create, drive, and nurture communication with leading corporate clients

  • Close long-term contracts with leading corporate names in Germany and Austria

  • Meet sales targets on a quarterly basis

  • Lift and shape the regional presence of the company

  • Become a thought leader for anything related to fintech development and actively participate in events, media performances, and meetings

  • Have exceptional English skills, both written and verbal

  • Be open to travel to client offices, as needed

  • Collaborate with the relevant internal teams on a variety of initiatives, projects, and events

  • Stay up to date with advances and innovations in IT and client industries

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve LabForty collateral (sales presentations, peer monitors, etc.)

  • Respond to sales requests and other tasks to help drive growth

Qualifications

Fluent German is required. Candidates without fluent German language skills are encouraged to apply for some of our other openings.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance, or equivalent experience in a related field

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a client-facing role, with a focus on corporate sales and B2B relationships for a leading IT development and services firm

  • Proven track record of successful performance in IT

  • Existing network of working connections with key executives in relevant businesses

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, in English

  • Exceptional communication and time management skills with proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and project management tools

  • Deep knowledge in any highly technical product and ability to learn abstract technologies

  • Willingness to travel to regional client offices as projects demand

  • Ability to work well under pressure and see stressful situations as opportunities rather than problems

  • Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a “can do” attitude

  • Show great attention to details
